Cooked Classics ("we", "our", "the app") is an audiobook summary player for Android. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

• Purchase history — We check your subscription status through Google Play Billing to determine access to premium content.
• App interactions — We store which books you save, mark as read, and play. Play and view counts are recorded to improve the catalog.
• Device identifiers — Firebase automatically generates an installation ID to connect your app to our backend services.

How We Use Your Data

All collected data is used solely for app functionality:

• Verifying your subscription to unlock premium content
• Displaying your saved and read books
• Providing audiobook playback services

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Data is transmitted securely to Firebase (Google Cloud) for storage and app functionality only.

Data Security

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

Data Retention

Your app interaction data is stored as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data. Firebase-stored data may be retained on our servers until manually deleted.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
